Itinerary

  • Day 01 – Airport – Colombo
    Upon your arrival at Colombo Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our English-speaking chauffeur and airport staff, who will assist you with your needs. Following this, you'll embark on a short 30-minute transfer to your hotel in Negombo. Once you check in, take some time to relax and unwind after your journey, enjoying the comforts of your accommodation. Dinner & Overnight stay at Colombo
  • Day 02 – Colombo
    After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a city tour of Colombo, beginning with a drive through the historic Fort area, once home to Portuguese and Dutch fortifications. Pass through Pettah, a bustling bazaar filled with lively crowds, old vehicles, and a mix of mosques and temples. Visit a Hindu and Buddhist Temple, as well as the striking Jumi Ul Alfar Jumma Mosque. The tour continues to Wolvendaal Dutch Church and Hulftsdorp Law Courts. Explore the elegant residential district of Cinnamon Gardens before visiting Independence Square and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall. Return to the hotel afterward.   • Day 06 – Yala
    Early in the morning, you will be transferred to Yala National Park, just a 20-minute drive from your hotel, for an exciting jeep safari. A packed breakfast will be provided by the hotel for your convenience. Yala is Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife destination, offering an exceptional chance to encounter a wide variety of animals, including elephants and leopards. The park boasts the highest densities of leopards in the world, with around 70 individuals, making sightings more likely than in regions dominated by lions. After an unforgettable wildlife experience, you will return to the hotel for some rest and relaxation. Dinner & Overnight stay at Yala
  • Day 07 – Yala – Ella
    After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Ella, a scenic 2 ½ hour drive. One of the highlights in Ella is hiking Little Adam’s Peak, a popular activity that offers a relatively easy and well-marked path. With signposts guiding the way, this short but rewarding hike provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making it well worth the climb. Afterward, you will be driven to the famous Nine Arch Bridge, a 10-minute journey. This colonial-era railway viaduct, also known as the "Bridge in the Sky," is an architectural marvel and a must-see landmark in Sri Lanka. Next, you will travel about 20 minutes to visit Ravana Falls, a breathtaking 90-meter waterfall located near the road to Wellawaya. The waterfall cascades over limestone rocks, creating a foaming spray. Local legend ties this waterfall to the mythical King Ravana from the Ramayana, who is said to have lived in the caves behind the falls. Dinner & Overnight stay at Ella
  • Day 08 – Ella – Gal Oya
    After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic three-hour drive to Gal Oya, where you'll check in at your accommodation. Following your arrival, prepare for a thrilling wildlife experience with the Inginiyagala Boat Safari, located about 40 minutes away. Starting at 2:45 PM, the safari takes you on a unique adventure across Sri Lanka's largest lake, the Senanayake Samudra. As you cruise through the waters, you may witness elephants gathering at the water's edge to drink or even swimming between islands—an extraordinary and rare sight. The lake is also home to a diverse array of wildlife, including birds, crocodiles, and deer, offering ample opportunities for spotting animals in their natural habitat. The boat ride lasts approximately two and a half hours, with transport time totaling around one and a half hours. The package includes tickets, a knowledgeable naturalist guide, and snacks, ensuring a memorable and comfortable experience. Return to the hotel afterward for a relaxing evening. En route, you'll visit a tea plantation and factory, where you can witness firsthand the fascinating process behind the famous Ceylon Tea. As you watch women skillfully pluck the finest tea leaves, you'll gain insight into the meticulous selection that goes into creating Sri Lanka's world-renowned tea. At the factory, the fresh leaves are processed through rolling, withering, and packaging, culminating in a chance to taste a freshly brewed cup of tea. Afterward, continue to Ambewela Farms, a tranquil dairy farm set amidst 150 acres of lush green pastures. Famous for its dairy products, the farm offers a peaceful escape with its grazing cows and wind turbines dotting the landscape.   • Day 10 –Nuwara Eliya 2nd Day
    After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a captivating city tour of Nuwara Eliya, situated 6,200 feet above sea level. This picturesque area was discovered in 1826 by British officers during a shooting expedition, leading Sir Edward Barnes to explore its potential. In 1828, a road was constructed over the Ramboda Pass, establishing a station for convalescent soldiers. Sir Samuel Baker, enchanted by the beauty of Nuwara Eliya, introduced hounds, horses, cattle, and sheep, creating a quintessential English farm. He also brought flowers and vegetables from England, which were lovingly planted, enhancing the region's charm and lush landscape. • Historical Landmarks: Experience the colonial heritage of Nuwara Eliya by visiting its notable historical sites. • Lake Gregory: Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the serene and calming atmosphere of Lake Gregory. • Victoria Park: Explore the beautifully landscaped gardens and unique ambiance of Victoria Park. • Sita Amman Temple: Discover the rich history and legend surrounding the Sita Amman Temple. • Nuwara Eliya Markets: Shop for warm clothing and fresh produce at the vibrant local markets, where great bargains await.     After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a scenic train journey to Kandy, lasting approximately 2½ hours. This unforgettable experience traverses Sri Lanka's stunning landscapes, showcasing lush green tea plantations, charming local villages, and breathtaking mountain tunnels. As you ascend to altitudes of 1,900 meters (6,200 ft), the views become increasingly spectacular, perfect for capturing memorable photographs. While we typically secure first-class tickets for our guests, availability is limited, and trains can often be canceled due to high demand.     After breakfast at the hotel, you'll have the evening transfer to witness the breathtaking Kandy Randoli Perahera, approximately a 20-minute drive away. This grand celebration, which dates back to King Megavanna's decree to honor the Tooth Relic of the Buddha, has evolved into one of the most spectacular events in Southeast Asia. Instituted during the reign of King Kirthi Sri Rajasinha in the 18th century, the Perahera features vibrant processions, traditional dancers, and adorned elephants, reflecting the deep cultural heritage of Sri Lanka.
